HEIC → JPG Converter
Convert iPhone HEIC photos to JPG. Your files never leave your device.
About this tool
iPhones save photos in the HEIC format. It keeps the same quality in a smaller file, but some Windows programs, older devices and many website upload forms cannot open it. This tool turns HEIC and HEIF photos into JPG, which opens everywhere.
Add several photos at once and they are converted in parallel. Download them one by one, or all together in a single ZIP file.
How to use
- Drag your HEIC files onto this page, or click the drop area to choose them. You can pick several at once.
- Adjust the “Quality” slider if needed. The default of 0.9 is a good balance between quality and file size.
- Click “Convert all”. The progress of each file is shown.
- Save files one at a time with “Download”, or get them all with “Download all as ZIP”.
Frequently asked questions
Does it work with HEIF files too?
Yes. It accepts files with both the .heic and .heif extensions.
Will the image quality drop?
JPG saves space by leaving out a little detail, so a lower quality setting gives a smaller file but a softer image. Close to 1, the result is hard to tell apart from the original, but the file is larger.
Can I convert to formats other than JPG?
This tool only makes JPG. To get PNG, WebP or AVIF, use the “Image Converter”. It accepts HEIC files directly.
Are my files uploaded to a server?
No. All processing happens inside the browser you are using right now. Your files are never sent anywhere, so no copy of your photos or documents is left on someone else's server.
Is it free? Do I need an account?
It is free, and no sign-up or login is needed. Just open the page and start.
