About this tool
Rotate images by any angle. Use the 90° buttons to stand a sideways photo upright, or straighten a slightly tilted horizon in 0.1° steps. Horizontal and vertical flips are available too.
Apply the same angle to many images at once and download them as a ZIP. The empty corners created by rotation can stay transparent or be filled with a color of your choice.
How to use
- Drag images onto the page or click to choose them. You can add several at once.
- Press a 90° button, or set the angle with the slider or the input box. Use the leveling grid to line up the horizon.
- Under “Canvas”, choose how the rotated image is framed, then set the empty margin and the output format.
- Click “Convert all”, then download files one by one or all at once with “Download ZIP”.
Frequently asked questions
What is the difference between the three canvas options?
“Fit everything” enlarges the canvas so nothing is cut off, leaving empty margins in the corners. “Keep original size” keeps the original dimensions but crops whatever sticks out. “Crop to fill” cuts out the largest rectangle with no empty margin at all, which is ideal for straightening tilted photos.
What about phone photos that appear sideways?
The orientation information stored in phone photos is read first, so the photo is turned upright before it is rotated. Just choose the angle based on what you see on screen.
Which way does the angle turn?
Positive angles turn clockwise and negative angles counterclockwise. When you also flip, the flip is applied first and then the rotation, so the result matches the order you see on screen.
Are my files uploaded to a server?
No. All processing happens inside the browser you are using right now. Your files are never sent anywhere, so no copy of your photos or documents is left on someone else's server.
